When Things Don't Go According to Plan

  • If you want to end OR temporarily suspend your composting relationship with Healthy Soil Compost at any time, you must email or call Healthy Soil Compost to let us know. This will help all parties involved. We will not need an explanation, but giving us feedback will always help our service!
  • If you end your composting relationship with Healthy Soil Compost, any prepaid pick-ups will be refunded on a pro-rated basis except for partial months, which will be charged as usual to cover the last collection.
  • If you do not pay your invoice for Healthy Soil Compost services by 30 days from the date the invoice is sent to you, Healthy Soil Compost may end this agreement.
  • Either you or Healthy Soil Compost may end this agreement at any time and as needed.
  • Healthy Soil Compost reserves the right to cancel or reschedule service on any given day due to extreme weather, unsafe road conditions, holidays, or operational gripes. You will be notified of such cancellation as soon as possible prior to your Scheduled Collection, and your account will not be charged.
  • Healthy Soil Compost will not provide "make-up" collections following a cancellation. If you are a weekly subscriber, your service will resume on Collection Day the following week. If you are a biweekly or monthly subscriber, your collection will be scheduled on the next week's neighborhood Collection Day.
  • A 25% fee (based on member rate) will be applied to any collection that needs to be rescheduled if bucket is not out for scheduled collection day at the suggested time in reminder. Healthy Soil Compost will discount the same amount if we fail to remind you of collection day or miss your bucket all together
  • Any matters relating to the cancellation or suspension of service will be made via email or telephone call.
